How it works

Three steps, one text.

1

Share your link

Your unique link is alchmyai.com/?ref=YOUR-NAME. Make YOUR-NAME anything you want: your name, a nickname, a channel tag like LI-2026. The cookie tracks who sent the lead.

2

They sign up

They visit, pick a build, and start a proposal. The system logs your code. Their build kicks off once they approve the scope and price.

3

You get paid

15% of every dollar they pay Alchmy in their first 12 months. Paid monthly via Venmo, PayPal, or ACH within 15 days of when the client pays me.

What you earn

Per close, per build.

Plain English for non-technical audiences.

Hey friends, quick share.

My friend Patrick builds custom software for small businesses to do their boring repetitive computer work for them. Things like:

- Picking up the phone after hours so they stop losing customers to faster competitors
- Writing meeting notes into their customer database so the team stops doing data entry by hand
- Drafting proposals in their voice so they save 5+ hours a week

If you know anyone running a small business who's drowning in admin, send them this: alchmyai.com/?ref=YOUR-NAME

He pays out 15% of whatever the customer spends in their first year. Real money for a text.

Hey [name],

Quick one. I'm shipping a fixed-scope AI agent build shop. $1,495 to $4,995 per build, 7 days, six menu items covering sales/ops/CRM/inbox pain. You own the code at the end. Real custom builds, not template SaaS.

Questions

How this actually works.

How does attribution actually work?

Two paths. The clean one: your share link includes ?ref=YOUR-NAME. When someone clicks it and buys within 90 days, the cookie ties them to you and the system logs it automatically. The fallback: if you forwarded by phone or in person, fill out the claim form. I match it against intake records and reply within 1 business day either way.

What's the attribution window?

12 months from intro. If your friend signs up within a year of your intro or share, you earn 15% on every dollar they pay Alchmy in their first 12 months: build + any add-ons + first year of subscription if Receptionist.

How do I get paid?

Manually for now. Venmo, PayPal, or ACH, whichever you prefer. Monthly, within 15 days of when the client pays me. I'll move to Stripe Connect onboarding once we cross 10 referral closes. Until then, manual is faster than automating something for a small batch.

What if my friend was already talking to PG?

If they were already in conversation with me before your intro, that's a "direct" lead, not a referral, so no fee. I'll be honest about it in my reply if I see a prior conversation. The "first timestamped warm intro wins" rule applies.

Can I refer multiple people?

Yes. No caps. Use the same ref code or generate new ones (e.g. ?ref=YOURNAME-LI for LinkedIn, ?ref=YOURNAME-FB for Facebook) so we both know which channel converted. I'd rather see one referrer with five closes than five referrers with one.

Why 15%? Why not 10%?

10% is too low to actually move someone to think of Alchmy when they hear a friend complaining about manual work. 20% breaks margin at scale. 15% is the industry midpoint for B2B services at this price point, and it lets a single referral close ($749 on Meeting Notes) be real money instead of token money.

What doesn't qualify?

Cold submissions without a warm intro. Leads sourced from my own LinkedIn posts or Meta ads (those are direct, not referred). Anyone I was already in a sales conversation with before your intro. Internal Metrasens connections (conflict of interest, kept separate).
